ARE THE TEA PARTY THE "RADICAL FRINGE"?

Leftist pundits like to accuse the TEA Party of being the "radical fringe". They label the group without any effort at objective investigation and imply that TEA Party members are not mainstream Americans. Are they? To find the truth, we need only look at what defines American ideology then see if it applies to them.

While no one person is the sole Founder of American ideology, the gathering of Founders did clearly document the core principles and began the work of building a nation founded upon it. American ideology, succinctly described in the Declaration of Independence, is:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed...

So, rightful Government power is used to defend our Rights, including our Right to Pursuit of Happiness (called the Right to Property in the original version). Government's job is to defend our Right to earn our way to happiness and to own what is ours. This is the fundamental definition of Americanism.

The American People (those who believe in this American ideology) are becoming increasingly alarmed that public servants use public offices to seize the assets of those who work productively then use those assets to buy votes from an ever growing class of government tax-dollar dependents.

The Left implements the "heroin dealer" approach to wrecking our freedom and prosperity. They give a little handout to get the recipient hooked and eager for more that is seized, through taxes, from productive workers. Because the people receiving such handouts vote, when their numbers become at least 50% of the population, the political system falls under the control of the Party that forces you to hand your dollars to them for redistribution.

This ever-growing tax burden inevitably destroys the livelihoods of those who earn an honest living. It seizes from honest workers what they acquired in their Pursuit of Happiness. It causes collapse of businesses that employ Americans, adding ever more to the rolls of government dependents , which is the Leftist politicians' real goal. Their seizure and redistribution schemes are contrary to the purpose for which the American system of government was instituted and are therefore anti-American.

These schemes are, however, elements of a clearly stated plan:

That agenda and the Leftist politicians implementing it are hostile to American principles. They are what the TEA Party stands against.

WAR AGAINST AMERICANS

It seems the primary attacks against the TEA Party come from the Progressive Left and their allies in the mainstream media. They consider American ideology, and those who defend it, an obstacle to their Revolution to "fundamentally transform" the United States. They are aggressively building unions as well as taxation and redistribution mechanisms to secure Democrat Party control over our assets and over all important aspects of our society. They are destroying the American system and replacing it with the standard Socialist model.

When The People of Wisconsin voted TEA Party candidates into the Legislature to rescue their economy from collapse, the Leftists rightly saw that as a threat to their stranglehold over the American worker. Leftists poured cash into a recall campaign in a desperate, failed bid to oust those who would defend the American worker against predatory taxation and wealth redistribution. Where did their political cash come from? It was seized from the American workers in the first place through taxation and union dues.

Nationwide, Leftist groups poured over $14 million into the recall effort - most of which came from outside Wisconsin. This is a clear indication of how important it is for Leftists to keep control over the worker (through mandatory union membership) and their money (through mandatory union dues). They are literally using the worker's money to keep the worker enslaved by their unions.

Let's not forget how the Left initially responded to the Legislature's attempt to salvage the economic situation in Wisconsin. Their Democrat politicians fled from the State to avoid being forced to do their jobs. The Left sent buses full of aggressive revolutionaries from around the nation to engage in noisy, disruptive activities to prevent the Legislature from conducting its lawful business.

Progressives do NOT believe in "democracy", despite their frequent use of the word. Nor do they believe in "compromise", despite frequent use of the word, when it is they who must compromise. Nor do they believe in American principles or respect the lawful operation of our government when it does not suit their (pro-Socialist, therefore anti-American) agenda.

Look what they have done with the power they already have - would any mainstream American vote to give them more? Certainly not.

TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY

The TEA Party acronym stands for Taxed Enough Already. Their efforts focus on defending the individual Right to own what we earn. They are the working class Americans who are targeted for destruction by the Marxist system of taxation and wealth redistribution. They stand firm against the "fundamental transformation" of America away from the American system to the Socialist system of Lenin, Engels and Marx, which enslaves everyone under the power of an elite ruling class. TEA Party members support political candidates who at least appear willing to obey their Oath of Office to uphold the US Constitution and to fulfill the clearly written purpose of American government. They adhere to, and expect the elected Representatives of the American People to adhere to, the Founding principles that were clearly written for us all to follow.

American principles are clearly defined. Our Constitution is a clear set of limitations on Government power. It was, in fact, intentionally written to prohibit Leftists from implementing the schemes that they are now inflicting upon us.

When the Left chastises pro-Americans (conservatives) for not "compromising", they are only saying, "let us do a little more of what is prohibited by the Constitution". An American will say "NO" and stand firm on that answer.

WHO IS THE RADICAL FRINGE?

We have examined the evidence and found the answer.

In conversation, we correctly identify the TEA Party as "mainstream American" while referring to the Progressive Left as the "radical fringe". If anyone gets that wrong, feel free to interrupt, be assertive and correct them.

The greatest evils perpetrated by Leftists begin with the spoken lie. We must not allow them an inch of progress in their efforts to deceive and conquer.
