"He, therefore, who is now against domestic manufacture, must be for reducing us either to dependence on that foreign nation, or to be clothed in skins, and to live like wild beasts in dens and caverns. I am not one of these; experience has taught me that manufactures are now as necessary to our independence as to our comfort; and if those who quote me as of a different opinion, will keep pace with me in purchasing nothing foreign where an equivalent of domestic fabric can be obtained, without regard to difference of price, it will not be our fault if we do not soon have a supply at home equal to our demand, and wrest that weapon of distress from the hand which has wielded it." The Letters of Thomas Jefferson: 1743-1826. To Benjamin Austin Monticello, January 9, 1816
Americans are very afraid and jobs is at the top of the list for millions. Employers don't know what will come out of Washington, DC next that will further hurt their ability to make a profit. Millions are coming to realize they're being snowed with propaganda like "We're in a recovery."
It is not the job of the federal government to create jobs, yet the thieves in the Outlaw Congress right now are bickering over another con job called a "jobs bill". This is just more of the same: increasing the debt, weaning more Americans into government jobs and possibly another extension of unemployment benefits:
"Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) and Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) worked for weeks with Reid's blessing and frequent involvement to craft an $85 billion jobs bill, a measure that seemed destined to break the partisan log-jam that has ground the Senate to a halt.
"[Reid's] trying to keep it simple," Harkin said emerging from the meeting, "but what I think ought to be in the package is unemployment insurance for one year."
The Marxist usurper in the White House just (without any legal authority) signed another law raising the public debt limit from $12.4 TRILLION "dollars" to $14.3 TRILLION "dollars".
Heck, what's another $85 BILLION tacked on for you, me, our children and grand children to labor like oxen under the yoke to do nothing more than pay the interest on that debt for our entire lifetimes? The people's purse is overdrawn $12.3 TRILLION "dollars". But, the Outlaw Congress wants to spend another $85 BILLION "dollars" that will have to be borrowed? Create jobs out of borrowed debt? Does anyone see the insanity of this? Remember: you are going to work today to help pay $800 MILLION dollars a week just on the interest to commie China for "our" debt.
It is impossible to pay off this Congressionally created debt, [1] signed off by every president for the past 100 years:
"A lot of people are very upset about the rapidly increasing U.S. national debt these days and they are demanding a solution. What they don't realize is that there simply is not a solution under the current U.S. financial system. It is now mathematically impossible for the U.S. government to pay off the U.S. national debt. You see, the truth is that the U.S. government now owes more dollars than actually exist. If the U.S. government went out today and took every single penny from every single American bank, business and taxpayer, they still would not be able to pay off the national debt. And if they did that, obviously American society would stop functioning because nobody would have any money to buy or sell anything.
"And the U.S. government would still be massively in debt."
Unemployment checks are replacing paychecks. This has done nothing to restore our most important and good paying job sectors. This has done nothing and will do nothing towards putting Americans back to work. More Band Aids to cover the massive bleeding. Employers will not hire unless there is an increase in their business and 17 MILLION unemployed Americans are only buying diapers, food, gas and other essentials. Too many are living in tents or their cars. Then, there are consumers like me who will NOT buy Made in commie China or India. I go without if I can't find what I want, so retailers are not getting our money. Employers also cannot hire when being hit by massive unemployment taxes. [2]
Folks have been sending me their candidate of choice for Congress in the coming November elections. The only problem is -- why are none of the candidates (that I've seen so far) addressing real solutions instead of just more pap and warmed over political rhetoric? John Dennis is running against Marxist Nancy Pelosi. He is a great constitutional candidate, except I don't see him stepping forward with taking the first step in bringing home MILLIONS of good paying jobs: "As a country we should welcome trade with all countries, resolve our outstanding disputes with countries considered unfriendly and have diplomatic relations with all."
Well said, but, like so many of the other candidates for Congress, where is your pledge to introduce and fight to get passed, bills that will get America out of three unconstitutional treaties: NAFTA, CAFTA and GATT?
Full page ad, NY Times, April 15, 1994:1944. Bretton Woods: The IMF and the World Bank. 1945. San Francisco: The United Nations. 1994, Marrakech: The World Trade Organization. History knows where it’s going. The final act of the Uruguay Round....to the WTO, the third pillar of the New World Order, along with the UN and the IMF." Henry Kissinger, a tried and true traitor and Soviet agent [3] recently said when asked the most important role Marxist Obama can play regarding the middle East: "Obama can give a new impetus to American foreign policy....his task is to step forward to create a new world."
People like me fought tooth and nail against all of those treaties - job killers. The destruction of our most important job sectors, agriculture, manufacturing and industrial have been destroyed by those treaties. The Republicans had 12 years to get us out of those treaties and out of the communist controlled UN. Instead, they did NOTHING while this nation hemorrhaged jobs by the millions.
Voters, tired, hungry and jobless or having lost their good factory job and now working for minimum wage, continue to vote back into the office the same turncoats who voted for these job killing treaties: John Boehner, Dana Rohrabacher, Newt globalist Gingrich, Tom Delay, Dennis Hastert, Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and so many more. On the senate side: Grassley sold us out as well as McCain, Lott, Shelby, Kay Bailey Hutchinson and more. Some of the crooks are gone (Hastert, Gingrich, Lott), but I can tell you that the aforementioned (with possibly the exception of Pelosi and Hutchinson who is running for Governor in Texas) will all be rewarded with re-election for their treachery in handing over our jobs to communist countries. Pro-communism is anti-American.

The Pelosi/Reid team has had control of Congress since January 2007. They have done NOTHING to get us out of those destructive trade treaties. Instead, they continue to spend more debt, not money, and creating more government jobs from borrowed, worthless paper, that produces nothing but higher taxes to pay for those jobs. What they have done is simply light a bigger bonfire for what's coming very soon and it can't be stopped. The same policies pursued by FDR [4] are being replayed today and the results will be the same - financial Armageddon - just on a grander scale.
Agriculture, manufacturing and industrial -- all crippled and dying a slow death because of destructive trade treaties signed by Bill Clinton (NAFTA & GATT) and George Bush, Jr. (CAFTA) to keep a "one world trading system" operating. George Bush, Sr., spearheaded the NAFTA treaty with Canada and Mexico; Billy was selected to continue the destruction. Obama is to cement the final stakes through the heart of this republic.
How many times have you heard on the boob tube, "Those are millions of jobs that will never come back."
Why the hell not? I'll tell you why: Because the Outlaw Congress is corrupt and cowardly. Those poltroons are afraid of communist China and will do nothing to get us out of those destructive treaties and bring home millions of jobs for Americans.
Of course, Americans are to blame, too. Before NAFTA and GATT were passed, 97% of all shoes were made here in OUR country. From toasters to hand tools, clothing to cars, we made our own products. We paid our workers good wages. Our factories hummed, our farmers and ranchers fed our people and millions around the world. Our industrial sector made the steel, we kept the money and the jobs. America kept her wealth where it should be: in the pocketbooks of her people. Instead of buying Made in America - even though it takes extra time - tens of millions of Americans bought and continue to buy "cheap" made in other countries. In reality what they've done is fire themselves. I know that sounds harsh, but it's the truth.
Did we have trade with other nations prior to NAFTA, CAFTA and GATT? Of course we did and we had tariffs. Fair trade is good. Free trade is financial suicide for any nation.
As those millions of jobs left our country for places like Bangladesh, commie Hong Kong, commie Viet Nam, commie China and India, Americans were forced out of small to medium towns and cities. They were driven to the major metropolitan cities which couldn't handle the massive numbers. As a result of that and the sickening burden of paying the way for illegal aliens, their infrastructures are collapsing. Oh, yes, let us not forget the impact on our economy because MILLIONS of criminals (illegal aliens) are illegally holding jobs that belong to Americans and naturalized Americans who came to our country the legal route. Juan McCain, Obama and Sarah Palin now want to reward [5] some 20 MILLION of those criminals with amnesty.
Those millions "displaced" by those toxic treaties began to buy "cheap" junk from China and other countries. American manufacturers struggle to compete with products coming from China - a communist country that murders their people at will. They monitor women's menstrual cycles to force abortions on them if they get pregnant twice. A country that condones the skinning of dogs and cats alive [6] so the fur can be illegally sold in parkas, doll clothes and sweaters sold in the US. I'd rather wear rags.
Back in 1994, a lame duck Congress voted on the hideous "free" trade treaty, GATT, whereby the United States of America totally and completely abrogated it's sovereignty to a foreign body - the WTO. At the time of the vote, Bob Dole said, "Any way you cut it, we're the big beneficiary." Counterfeit U.S. Senator Ernest Hollings had just the opposite prediction, "...described the vote as 'the gravest mistake the U.S. has ever made on economic policy.'"
Hollings' statement turned out to be right; Dole walked from the Senate a millionaire. Our nation has been plundered as a result of GATT and We, the People, our businesses, our commerce, and our livelihoods, have been under attack ever since, losing virtually every single challenge made by some foreign country. On September 26, 2002, counterfeit U.S. Senator Max Baucus said he was deeply troubled by the WTO dispute settlement process: "Things are looking more and more... like a kangaroo court against U.S. trade laws."
Funny thing about Baucus' stand on trade. He's a "free" trader. On his web site it states, "I've also been a leader in the successful efforts to open Chinese markets to U.S. products and to bring China into the World Trade Organization." Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas. The vote on GATT was 76-24. Guess how many members of the entire Congress read the fine print? One! Former counterfeit Senator Hank Brown (R-CO). He's the only one who read this 28,000 page treaty and declared that in no way would he vote for it.
During the hearings on this monster, French financier Sir James Goldsmith testified in front of Earnest Hollings' committee. He demonstrated that GATT would gut the American textile market. The following are some quotes from the Washington Times, December 6, 1993; they accurately reflect Sir Goldsmith's statements during the hearings, which I watched on TV:
"Global free trade will force the poor of the rich countries to subsidize the rich in poor countries. What GATT means is that our national wealth, accumulated over centuries, will be transferred from a developed country like Britain to developing countries like Communist China, now building its first ocean going navy in 500 years."
"China, with its 1.2 billion people, three Indochinese states with 900 million, the former Soviet republics with some 300 million, and many more can supply skilled labor for a fraction of Western costs. Five dollars in Communist China is the equivalent of a $100 wage in Europe."
"It is quite amazing that GATT is sowing the seeds for global social upheaval and that it is not even the subject of debate in America....If the masses understood the truth about GATT, there would be blood in the streets of many capitals. A healthy national economy has to produce a large part of its own needs. It cannot simply import what it needs and use its labor force to provide services for other countries."
"We have to rethink from top to bottom why we have elevated global free trade to the status of sacred cow, or moral dogma. It is a fatally flawed concept that will impoverish and destabilize the industrialized world while cruelly ravaging the Third World."
Sir Goldsmith could see into the future, only it's been far worse than he predicted.
The architects of a one world government crushed our freedom and independence with those treaties and here we are today. The Plan was written long ago and I hope you can take the time to read this column I wrote [7] back in 2002. It has opened many eyes over the years: Americans Committing National Suicide.
Have you heard any candidate or incumbent talk about getting America out of the Bretton Woods agreement? This should be a priority. Bretton Woods was brought into being to reorder the world's financial structures and banking system. It has been POISON for our sovereignty and our financial survival. Bretton Woods was and is a major tool for stripping you of every last penny you make and illegally pumping it into totalitarian operations like the IMF and BIS. A complete failure, because the dominos are getting ready to topple globally.
Congressman Ron Paul (pictured left) has introduced several bills in the past that would boost the economy and create jobs through spending. All ignored by those caring Republicans and Democrats in Congress.
• December 12, 2000:
Paul Calls for an End to Withholding Taxes
• April 4, 2001:
Congressman Paul Introduces Legislation to Abolish Withholding Taxes
• January 29, 2009:
Ron Paul Introduces Tax Free Tips Act
On November 16, 2009, I wrote a column titled: Demand Congress Stop Withholding Taxes Now. That is another solution being completely ignored by Congress AND the American people.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record: Buy American. On my web site is a huge list of Made In America companies who want your business. It might require a little extra time, but if we don't support our own industries, we will be supporting our own destruction. The more we buy Made in America, the more American companies will hire. Through a free market, the prices will be affordable and the money stays HERE in America. Not India or some communist country. Tell retailers you want Made in America or you will find it someplace else.
Vote out every incumbent in Congress who voted for NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT. Throw them out for destroying and betraying our republic. How can any voter reward any incumbent who has sold out their own country? Contact candidates and get their pledge to get us out of the UN, all those treaties and no more of our money stolen to illegally feed the IMF, BIS or foreign aid to ANY country and that includes Israel. Congress never had the legal authority under the U.S. Constitution to steal the fruits of our labor to simply give to any foreign country on this earth. That's why I call them the Outlaw Congress.
