Deputy Deckert tells Weidner he is not in court to uphold Weidner’s
constitutional rights to “due process” (as stated in Deckert’s
oath of office) but to do whatever the judges tell him to do.
On August l5, 2005 Roger
Weidner, l998, Oregon Reform Party candidate for Governor and longtime
whistle-blower on court corruption, appeared in the Deschutes County
Court of Judge Walberg. Appearing with Weidner were Lapine, Oregon property
owner Patricia Wishon, political activists, Jason Wheeler, Steve Polson,
Gregory Williams, Donna and Lou Sutton and five other supporters.
According to Weidner, a
former attorney and public prosecutor, “I have for the past 2
plus years, been trying to block the attempt of attorneys Claud Ingram,
Linda Hasse, Anthony Albertazzi and Santiago Torres to steal, through
the legal process, a portion of the property Wishon inherited from her
late husband.” Weidner’s on-going battle with the attorneys,
judges and Deschutes County Sheriff Deputies trying to pull off the
“theft” has appeared in prior issues of the US~Observer.
The July-August issue of the US~Observer, under the front-page headline,
“DESCHUTES COUNTY SHERIFF REFUSES CERT. MAIL,” lays out
and details this case.
As Weidner was going through
the security checkpoint at the courthouse, the on-duty deputy asked
him if he had any sharp weapons. Weidner said, “Only my sharp
tongue that I inherited from my mother.” The guard said, “Oh,
Yes! I have heard you speak in court.” When Claud Ingram entered
the lobby Weidner pointed to him and, for the seventh time in public,
condemned Ingram and told his supporters what a shameless treacherous
thief Ingram was. Ingram said nothing.
Fifteen minutes before the
hearing Weidner, Williams, Polson and Sutton approached the four guards
present keeping Weidner’s group under surveillance. As Weidner
has done repeatedly in the past he explained to the deputies that he
was a former public prosecutor who has been trying to speak in court
on the record about the wide- spread corruption in the Oregon court
system. The corruption being, Weidner told the guards, that people were
having their children, lands and other property stolen shamelessly in
“sham” often “star chamber” type proceedings
where the outcome was a forgone conclusion, where the victim always
loses. He told the deputies he has been repeatedly arrested, by “you
guards on the order of these corrupt judges protecting the thieving
attorneys.” As Weidner was speaking the deputies all started to
leave. Deputy Deckert said, “I don’t want to hear it Weidner,
I have heard it all before.” Weidner in response said, “you
are all sworn deputies who have taken an oath to uphold our constitutional
rights to ‘equal protection’ and ‘due process’
of law” and to see we get a fair hearing in these courts. In response,
Deputy Deckert whirled around and in a defiant tone said: “you
are wrong Weidner; we are down here to do what the judge tells us to
do!”
For the hearing, Weidner,
as has been his practice in the past, because of his belief on the on-going
nature of the corruption, subpoenaed the Governor, Attorney General,
all members of the Oregon Supreme Court and Court of Appeals and all
90 state legislators. Deputy Attorney General Cindy Johnson telephoned
Weidner before the hearing and said she was representing all the public
officials Weidner had subpoenaed. She then filed a Motion to Quash the
Subpoenas’ and for a Protective Order and filed a four page supporting
memorandum. When the hearing started Judge Walgren started to ask Ingram
a question when Weidner interrupted and said the Motion to Quash should
be heard first. Judge Walgren said he did not have any motions before
him.
When Ingram spoke he complained
that Wishon and Weidner just keep filing new motions, without court
permission, when their existing motions are denied and there is nothing
new in the motions they file. Weidner then stood and told the court
that he and Wishon have repeatedly testified factually and truthfully
under oath, in court, on the record, without challenge or objection
by Ingram, Hasse, Albertazzi (Wishon’s former attorney) and Torres
about their shameless, treachery in trying to steal, through the legal
process, Albertazzi’s client’s (Patricia Wishon) property.
While Weidner questioned him Ingram sat quiet, not saying a word. When
Weidner finished Ingram stood and said “Mr. Weeedner is a liar!
When Weidner asked Ingram what he was lying about Ingram said nothing.
After the hearing a young
Assistant District Attorney, who told Weidner he had been in the District
Attorney’s Office for two months said he would be prosecuting
Weidner for Harassment. The Harassment charge occurred when Weidner
arrested Ingram for conspiracy and theft on March 7, 2005.
The trial is scheduled
for October l8, 2005. Those wishing to testify against Ingram at the
trial should contact Patricia Wishon at 541-536-2727.
