Bomb Scare, Or Heavy Hands?

There I was it was a cool September night I was going out to what had seemed to be a normal walk for a workout program I had recently started. I had been doing some weighted walks over the last few weeks to get in shape . I headed to the all sports park in grants pass it was around eleven at night when I arrived there. I sat to take a break after going about 5 to 6 miles. And saw the canopy in the park I sat down and saw a gentleman rolling cigarettes. After about ten minutes I was just getting up to go and out of the corner of my eye I saw two grants pass public safety cars. They had their spot lights on because I was in my weight vest I stepped out into the light where I was easily visible. From what I could see there was a female officer approaching she was medium height with short blonde hair I heard a woman yell “stop where you are black vest.” So I stood perfectly still she then yelled “drop whatever is in your hand and slowly bring your hands to the back of your head with your fingers interlocked. Next drop down to your knees and lay on the ground.” After five minutes her partner had rounded everyone else up and saw I was on the ground. He immediately picked me up and apologized for the whole situation. At first I didn’t think anything was weird then I looked and saw that I was the only one instructed to lay down. Now I had fourteen lbs worth of weight pressing against my chest and back and was starting to feel tired. So I removed my vest it turns out that they were their because they thought their was marijuana on everyone . and a complaint had been called into the police department. I couldn’t figure out why I was treated differently from everyone else by the time I got home I realized that my vest looked like a swat or military vest .
