A life-long dream of becoming Police Officers became a nightmare for two Medford brothers who learned that a lack of integrity wasn’t just something reserved for those who have chosen a life of crime. Donald and Jason Libby, owners of Jackson County Security spent many years encountering harassment from the Medford Police Department (MPD). In fact in 2010, the harassment turned to false accusations and false citations against the brothers by officers from MPD. The citations, false criminal charges and harassment from four MPD “team seven” officers, and a few others, became so excessive that they were forced to seek legal counsel and the assistance of the US~Observer. The Libby’s suffered from police abuse.
The Libby’s found the US~Observer. It was clear that a few bad apples within Medford Police Department were targeting the Libby brothers. One of the Libby’s had previously dated an MPD Officer’s daughter, which likely escalated the unwarranted attacks against the bother’s. Police Abuse is real. The Libby’s faced fairly severe abuse by MPD officers. Every step of the way, once wrongfully charged with crimes, the US~Observer was there. We went to bat for these two upstanding, law-abiding brothers. In the end, the Libbys prevailed.
The Libby’s have been wrongfully arrested multiple times by MPD. Each time, they’ve prevailed. Each time, the US~Observer has been there to help. Now, MPD has left the brothers alone – and rightfully so.
