Club 71 Under State Scrutiny

Sunny Valley, Oregon – Former employees of the Sunny Valley strip club, Club 71, have come forward on the condition of anonymity stating that they have reported safety violations to Oregon’s Occupational Safety & Health Division due to the lack of effort of Josephine County agencies to protect the employees and public from alleged violations of building, health, and safety regulations.

These employees further state that according to Oregon OSHA the club, owned by Richard Larry Lacey, must furnish documentation to the department which addresses the alleged violations, corrections made to alleviate these issues, which are to be supported by various forms of documentation to be provided to OR-OSHA within a limited time frame.

The US~Observer has also been informed that OR-OSHA is somewhat perplexed by the county’s lack of involvement in such obvious violations. To be sure, the US~Observer will follow this closely and continue our in-depth reporting on Club 71.
